He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1980 to 1986.

Between 1986 and 1987, he did internship in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Hospital of Emergency Care in Baku.

Between 1987 and 1991, he worked as an anesthesiologist at the Central Hospital in Ali-Bayramli.

He has worked as an anesthesiologist at the Department of Anesthesiology of the National Center of Oncology since 1991.
