He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1998 to 2004.

Between 2007 and 2012, he did residency in Nuclear Medicine at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the School of Medicine of Marmara University in Istanbul. 

He did research fellowship at the Department of Nuclear Medicine of Mount Sinai Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Columbia & Cornell University Hospital from 2010 to 2011.

He did clinical research fellowship at the University College London Hospital of the Institute Of Nuclear Medicine in London from 2013 to 2014.

In 2012, he defended a dissertation on “The Role of FDG PET-CT on Differential Diagnosis of Common Enhanced Brain Tumors”.

He worked as a radiologist at the National Center of Oncology in 2012.

He has been Head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the National Center of Oncology since 2014.
