Biography

She studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1982 to 1988.

Between 1988 and 1989, she did internship at the Republic Clinical Hospital named after Academician M.Mirgasimov in Baku.

She worked as a radiologist at the Department of Radionuclide Diagnostics of the Republican Diagnostic Centre in Baku from 1989 to 2005.

In 1990, she took an advanced course at the International Advanced Training Institute for Doctors in Moscow.

In 1995, under Academic M.J.Javadzadeh's guidance, she defended a dissertation on “Changes in the bone system of the patients with chronic renal failure and its correction” in Baku.

She worked as an assistant at the Department of Roentgenology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in 1998.

In 2007, she was elected as an Associate Professor at the Department of Radiology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A.Aliyev.

In 2008, she did a month internship in imaging at the American Austrian Foundation and Institute of Nuclear Medicine in Salzburg.

She worked as a radiologist at the Public Health and Reforms Center in Baku between 2008 and 2018.

In 2010, she took an advanced training course on “Physicotechnical basis of CT and MRI”, “CT and MRI diagnostics of diseases of organs and systems” in Baku.

She was Head of the Department of Radiology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in 2011.

In 2012, she did a month observership in Nuclear Medicine at the American Austrian Foundation and Institute of Nuclear Medicine and PET Center in Vienna.

In 2015, by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor of Radiation Diagnostics.

She has worked as a radiologist at the Department of Radionuclide Diagnostics of the  National Center of Oncology since 2018.

She is the author of about 60 scientific articles and theses.
