He studied at the Medical-prophylactic Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1973 to 1979.

Between 1979 and 1980, he did internship in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Clinical Hospital N3 in Baku.

He worked as an anesthesiologist at the Central Hospital of Beylagan from 1980 to 1984.

Between 1984 and 1986, he worked as a doctor at the Station of Emergency Care in Baku.

He has worked as an anesthesiologist at the Department of Anesthesiology of the National Center of Oncology since 1986.
