He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1998 to 2004.

Between 2004 and 2007, he did a clinical residency at the Department of Radiotherapy of the Russian Federation Cancer Research Center.

Since 2007, he has worked as a radiation oncologist and researcher at the Department of Radiotherapy of National Center of Oncology.

He received a postgraduate doctoral edication at the National Center of Oncology from 2008 to 2010.

He has participated in training courses and fellowships held in Turkey, Germany and Italy.

In 2010, he was awarded a PhD degree for the scientific research "Chemoradiotherapy of non-small cell lung cancer of IIIa stage”.

26 scientific articles have been published. 

The main directions of the medical and scientific activities are IMRT and SBRT of lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancers, lymphomas, prostate cancer, malignancies of the upper abdomen and retroperitoneum and palliative radiotherapy.
