He studied at the Faculty of General Medicine of Azerbaijani Medical University from 1995 to 2001.

He did a clinical residency at the National Center of Oncology from 2001 to 2003.

He has worked as an oncologist at the Department of Head and Neck Tumours of the National Center of Oncology since 2008.

Dissertation on the “Prevention and correction of local postoperative complications in patients with larynx cancer” for a scientific degree – Doctor of Philosophy on Medicine(PhD) under the guidance of Academic Jamil Aliyev

He is an author of nearly 20 scientific articles and theses.
