He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1989 to 1995.

Between 1995 and 1996, he did an internship in Oncology at the Department of Oncology of Azerbaijan Medical University.

He worked as an oncologist at the Polyclinic Department of the National Center of Oncology from 1997 to 1998.

Between the years of 1998-2003, he was a junior researcher at the National Center of Oncology.

He has worked as a junior researcher at the Department of Oncohematology of the National Center of Oncology since 2005.
