Biography

He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1965 to 1971.

In 1972, he attended a course at Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev.

From 1976 to 1978, he did a residency at the Scientific-Research Institute of Roentgen-Radiology in Baku. 

He worked as a surgeon at the Medical Sanitary Unit in Azerbaijan from 1971 to 1972. 

He worked as a surgeon at the Medical Sanitary Unit in Azerbaijan from 1974 to 1976.

He was a resident-physician, oncologist, Head of the Department at the National Center of Oncology between the years of 1979 and 1993.

From 1993 to 2013, he worked as Deputy General Director for Research at the National Center of Oncology. 

He has worked as a senior researcher at the Department of General Oncology of the National Center of Oncology since 2014.

For his achievements in scientific and practical work, he was awarded the “Excellence in Healthcare” badge and twice the “Honorary Diploma” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the title of Honored Doctor of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He participated in numerous oncology congresses, symposia and conferences held in the CIS countries and abroad (Turkey, Italy, Austria, Spain, Germany, Poland, etc.).

He has more than 170 scientific works, including 2 monographs, 2 inventions, 5 rationalization recommendations and 6 rationalization proposals.
