She graduated from the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University in 1977.

Between 1977 and 1978, she did Cardiology internship.

Between 1979 and 1985, she worked as a radiologist at Azerbaijan State Medical Clinic №2.

She did a clinical recidency at the Department of Radiotherapy of the National Center of Oncology from 1985 to 1987.

In 1993, she was awarded a PhD degree for the scientific research on “The treatment of patients with cancer of esophagus using different regimes of fractionation of radiation”.

She is an Assistant Professor and a senior researcher at the Department of Radiotherapy of the National Center of Oncology.

More than 180 scientific articles have been published. She is an author of 3 methodological recommendations, she has 1 innovation proposal and patent for invention “Device for fixing patient’s body on gamma-apparatus”.
