She graduated from the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University in 1989.

Between 1994 and 1996, she did a clinical residency at the National Center of Oncology.

Since 1996, she has worked as a radiation oncologist at the Department of Radiotherapy of the National Center of Oncology.

She received a postgraduate education at the National Center of Oncology from 2005 to 2008.

In June 2008, she defended a thesis on “Results of radiation therapy in patients with laryngeal and pharyngeal cancer with the accelerated hyperfraction mode separately and in combination with 5-fluorouracil and cisplatin.”.

She is a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Sciences.

The main direction of her medical and scientific activity is radiation therapy of breast, head and neck cancer.
