Dr. Paul Marinus Anne, Ph.D, thoracic surgeon,Head of the Lung Surgery Department at Amsterdam University Medical Centers,visited the National Center of Oncologyon April 15, 2019. During his visit to the National Center of Oncology, two surgeries were performed under the observation and participation of the surgeons from the National Center of Oncology.

After the surgery, Dr. Paul Marinus Anne got acquainted with the National Center of Oncology,with the modern equipment of the most modern and famous center of the Caucasus. The guest was impressed by the center, the conditions created for the patients, the medical approach and the humanist aura here.

Then Dr. Paul Marinus Anne gave a lecture on the topic “Surgery for non-small cell lung cancer after chemoradiotherapy: Indications, performance and management of complications.” The lecture, which caused great interest, was attended not only by the doctors from the National Center of Oncology, but also by the doctors from other hospitals.
