He studied at the Medical-prophylactic Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1993 to 1999. 

He did an oncology internship at the Oncologic Clinic of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1999 to 2000.

Since 2000, he has worked as an oncologist at the Department of Abdominal Oncology of the National Center of Oncology.

Between the years of 2002 and 2004, he did a clinical residency in oncology at the National Center of Oncology.

He received a postgraduate education at the National Center of Oncology from 2004 to 2007.

In 2008, he took a specialization course at Ankara Oncology Clinic in Turkey.

He defended a PhD thesis on the topic “Epidemiology of gastric cancer in Azerbaijan Republic” in 2008.

More than 50 scientific works have been published. Among them, 7 articles have been published in foreign journals, 34 scientific works have been published in the materials of international congresses.

He is a co-author of 3 methodical recommendations. He is also a co-author of  an international patent and invention.

He gave numerous presentations in different scientific conferences in our and in foreign countries.

Initially, he worked as a clinical resident, then a full-time graduate student, senior laboratory assistant, junior researcher, researcher, and now he works as a senior researcher at the Department of Abdominal Oncology.

At the same time, he is engaged in the practical treatment of patients in the field of abdominal oncology in addition to his scientific activity.
