She studied at the Faculty of General Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University from 2006 to 2012.

In 2011, she had an observership at the Surgery Department of the Hospital Santa Maria in Lisbon, Portugal in the framework of the International Student Exchange Program of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations.

Between 2012 and 2018, she did residency in Oncology at the National Center of Oncology.

In 2016, she was awarded the International Development and Education Award (IDEA) by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Conquer Cancer Foundation. She had an observership in Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

In 2017, she had an observership in Neolife Oncology Center in Istanbul, Turkey. 

In 2017-2018, she participated in the Certificate of Competence in Breast Cancer Program by the  European School of Oncology and Ulm University with scholarship.

She has worked as a medical oncologist at the Department of Chemotherapy I of the National Center of Oncology.

She has been Head of the Department of Public and International Relations of the National Center of Oncology since 2018.

In 2019, she participated in the International Observership Program at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New-York, USA.

In 2019, she did an observership at the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology of the Jena University Hospital in Germany.

In 2019, she was awarded the Excellent Case Presentation award in Salzburg Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Seminar on Breast and Gynecologic Cancer.

She is a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), America Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European School of Oncology (ESO) and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).

She has participated in more than 40 oncology conferences and meetings held in different countries.

She was an invited speaker in the 2nd International Congress on Oncological Science, Antalya, Turkey; the I Regional Conference on Oncology, Tbilisi, Georgia; the 3rd Chinese University of Hong-Kong(CUHK) Sarcoma Masterclass, Hong-Kong; the 9th International Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference, Istanbul, Turkey; the 3rd International Urooncology Symposium, Baku, Azerbaijan; the Breast-Gynecological & Immunooncology International Cancer Conference, Cairo, Egypt.
