She studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan State Medical University from 1971 to 1977.

Between 1977 and 1978, she did internship at the City Clinical Hospital No.1 in Baku.

She has worked as a cardiologist at the Polyclinic Admisision Department of the National Center of Oncology since 1988.

She attended an advanced training course in Oncology at Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev in 2011 and 2016 years.
