She studied at the Faculty of General Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University from 2001 to 2007.

Between 2007 and 2008, she did an oncology internship at the National Center of Oncology.

She did a clinical residency in oncology at the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M.Sechenov in Moscow, Russia from 2008 to 2010.

Between 2010 and 2013, she received a posgraduate edication in Gynecologic Oncology at Moscow Scientific Research Oncology Institute named after  P.A. Gertsen.

In 2013, she defended a thesis on the topic "Clinical features and diagnostics of pre-malignant lesions and cancer of vulva” and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Between January 2016 and March 2017, she was a clinical research coordinator at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Department of Surgery of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, USA.
