He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1993 to 1999.

He attended 2 months course on military field therapy during military service at the Faculty of Military Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University.

He did internship in Baku from 1999 to 2000.

Between 2000 and 2002, he worked as a Brigade medical unit doctor of the rank of Senior Lieutenant at the Medical Service in Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He worked as a therapist at the Military Hospital N in Perm between 2003 to 2006.

In 2007, he attended a course in Cardiology at Saint Petersburg State Medical Academy of the Agency for Health and Social Affairs.

He attended a course in Echocardiography and Cardiac intensive care at the Department of Cardiology of the Faculty of Medicine of Ondokuz Mayis University in Samsun from 2007 to 2008.

Between 2008 and 2009, he attended a course in Coronary angiography at Ondokuz Mayis University in Samsun.

He worked as an invasive cardiologist at the Department of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery of Private Mediva Hospital in Turkey between 2008 and 2009.

He worked as a cardiologist at Atlas Medical Center in Baku between 2008 and 2009.

He has worked as a cardiologist at the National Center of Oncology since 2009.
