Dr. Niyazi is a highly-qualified surgical oncologist. 

He studied at the  Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Vladivostok State Medical University  in Vladivostok, Russia from 1984 to 1990.

Between the years of 1990 and 1991, he did an internship at the General Surgery Department of Tyumen Medical Academy in Nefteyugansk, Russia.

He worked as a surgeon at the Central City Hospital of Nefteyugansk, Russia from 1990 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a surgeon at Leyla Shikhlinskaya’s Clinic in Baku.

He was Head of the Department of Abdominal Oncology of the National Center of Oncology between 2009 and 2018.

Dr. Niyazi has participated in many scientific conferences and congresses held in Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Austria, Italy and in our Republic.

More than 100 scientific works have been published.  

He made a presentation on ” Nikelid-titanium implant in the formation of compression esophagoenteroanastomosis for proximal gastric cancer” at the Congress of “Oncologists and radiologists of the CIS countries” held in Astana; “Laparoscopic surgery in coloproctology”at the XIII Eurasian Annual Congress of Surgeons and Gastroenterologists held in Baku; “Surgical aspects of the treatment of pancreatic tumors” at the International Conference on Surgery held in Turkey. 

Dr. Niyazi defended a dissertation on "Clinical and epidemiological features of tumors of the hepatopancreatoduodenal area in the Republic of Azerbaijan" and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine.

He attended advanced training courses in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Tyumen, Surgut, Minsk and Baku.

In November 13, 2001, by the decision of the Attestation Commission under the Department of Health of Tyumen region, he was awarded the degree of Higher Specialty in Surgery.
