He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1996 to 2002. 

He did an internship at the National Center of Oncology from 2002 to 2003.  

Between the years of 2004 and 2006, he did a clinical residency in “oncology-surgery” at the Russian Oncology Research Center named after  N.N Blokhin in Moscow. 

Between the years of 2006 and 2010, he received a postgraduate education at the Russian Oncology Research Center named after N.N. Blokhin in Moscow. 

He took a 2-month course on "Mini-invasive Thoracoscopic Surgery" at the Oncology Research Center named after N.N. Blokhin in Moscow in 2007.

In 2016, he did an observership at Okan University Clinic in  Istanbul.

In 2018, he did an observership in Florence Nightingale Hospitals in Istanbul. 

He has worked as surgical oncologist and junior researcher at the Department of Thoracic Oncology of the National  Center of Oncology since 2010.

In 2010, he defended a dissertation on the topic "Lung cancer in young patients" and he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine.

53 scientific works have been published in foreign and local journals.

At present, he is participating in the scientific-research work of the Department on "Predicting the outcome of surgery for lung cancer".

He participates in local and international conferences on oncology.
