He studied at the Faculty of II General Medicine of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1991 to 1997.

Between 1997 and 1998, he did an internship at the City Oncological Dispensary in Baku.

He took a medical oncology course at Ankara Oncology Hospital in Turkey from 2008 to 2009.

Between 2009 and 2010, he took a medical oncology course at Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey.

Since 2010, he has worked at the National Center of Oncology . He was Head of the Department of Chemotherapy II of the National Center of Oncology. Currently, he works as a medical oncologist at the Department.

He has been a member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) since 2010.

In 2015-2016, he was a conference secretary on the Turkey-Azerbaijan Oncology Days. He was a co-chair  and reporter representing Azerbaijan at the I and II ICONS conferences held in Turkey.

He is an author  of  6 scientific articles published in Azərbaijan and 3 articles published abroad and co-author of 1 methodical resource.
