Dr. Teymur studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Tbilisi State Medical University from 1996 to 2002. 

Between 2002 and 2005, he did a clinical residency at Saint Petersburg State Medical Academy. 

He received a postgraduate education at the National Centre of Oncology from 2005 to 2008. 

In 2008, he did a oncourology fellowship at the National Cancer Center named after N.N. Aleksandrov in Minsk, Belarus

He has worked as an oncologist at the Department of Oncourology of the National Center of Oncology since 2009.

In 2011, he defended a PhD dissertation on the topic “Efficacy of bisphosphonates in the treatment of bone metastatic prostate carcinoma” in Baku.

He has received a full-time Doctoral education at the National Center of Oncology since 2016.

Between 2005 and 2019, more than 100 articles and abstracts were published in various peer-reviewed journals in the CIS countries, Europe and Azerbaijan.

Between 2012 to 2019, he made 14 presentations at the international conferences held in Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and Spain (AUA, ROOU, EAU, CCA).
