He studied at the Faculty of Medical and Biotechnical Apparatus and Systems of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy from 1995 to 1999.

Between 1999 and 2001, he received a postgraduate education for the Master degree in Medical and Biotechnical Apparatus and Systems at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

He worked as a medical physicist at the Department of Radiotherapy of the National Center of Oncology from 2004 to 2009.

He was Head of the Department of Medical Physics and Clinical Topometry of the National Center of Oncology in 2009.
