He studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University from 1995 to 2001.

Between 2001 and 2002, he did internship in oncology at the National Center of Oncology.

He took an advanced course in endoscopy at the Russian Oncological Scientific Center named after N.N.Blokhin in Moscow between 2001 and 2002.

He has worked as an oncologist at the Department of Endoscopy of the National Center of Oncology since 2004.

In 2011, he took an advanced course in oncology at the Department of Oncology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev.

In 2014, he took an advanced training in the basis of "Endoscopic Ultrasonography of the Digestive System" of the Scientific and Educational Center for Abdominal Surgery and Endoscopy in Moscow.

In 2012, he defended a thesis on the "Improvment of the methods of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of precancerous colon and rectum diseases" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine.

He has 33 publications, among them there is one methodic recommendation.

He has actively participated in local and international conferences in endoscopy, gastroenterology and oncology.

He is a member of the Society of Oncological Coloproctology Specialists.

He performs wide spectrum of diagnostic and treatment endoscopy manipulations.
