On 29 April 2015,at the general meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, an outstanding scientist of ANAS  Academician Jamil Aziz Aliyev was awarded the prize named after  academician M. Mirgasimov of ANAS for fundamental scientific works on the study of oncological problems of subclinical pathology of the liver cancer.Money received for the award will be spent on treatment of children suffering from cancer in Children Oncology Clinic of National Center of Oncology.
