Department of Pediatric Radiation Therapy
Department of Pediatric Radiation Therapy was founded in 2013. Since then scientific investigation efforts were made to increase an efficacy of radiotherapy as a part of complex treatment of oncological patients. All advanced oncology methods used at the leading world class hospitals are utilized in full capacity at the Pediatric Radiation Therapy Department. It includes:
- 2D convensional radiotherapy,
- 3D conformal radiotherapy,
- Intensive Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT),
- Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT),
- Volumetric Intensited-ModulatedArc Sherapy (Rapid Arc),
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS),
- Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT),
- Brachitherapy (intracavitary treatment gynecologic cancers and esophagus cancer, interstitial treatment prostate and breast cancer), concurrent radiochemotherapy.
