The Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care

The department of Pediatric Anesthesia and Intensive Care is designed for 7 beds. It provides treatment and nursing of babies before and after surgery and anesthetic management in operating room. This department performs everything for preparing and carry out different types of anesthesia during operation, diagnostic and therapeutic manipulation in oncologic and non-oncologic patients. The staff of department have excellent training in maintenance of critically ill patients. Anesthesiologist-intensivists, along with standart professional skill set and knowledge, have necessary knowledge and experience for securing the high-risk patients related to specific localizations of oncologic processes and severe co-morbidities.

The department is equipped with modern facilities, including

-respiratory support equipment (Hamilton Medical)

-patient monitoring equipment (Draeger)

-equipment for dose administration of drugs (B. Braun)
