On May 4,2011,in Baku an agreement on scientific-research cooperation between the National Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic and Hacettepe University of the  Republic  of Turkey was signed.

Agreement consisting of 4 items signed by academician J.A.Aliyev the general director of the National Center of Oncology, and Prof.Dr. Ugur Erdener the rector of Hacettepe University of the Republic of Turkey provides for development of scientific-research programs,conducting joint seminars,conferences and a number of projects. Parties will cooperate in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors.

On June 26,2012 a protocol of  academic cooperation and   exchange of experts was signed between the National Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic and  Hacettepe University of the Republic of Turkey.

The protocol was signed by academician J.A.Aliyev ,the General Director of the National Center of Oncology, and Prof.Dr.Murat Tuncer,rector of Hacettepe University.In protocol consisting of 4 articles  is reflected practical courses ,exchange of  scientists and experts, and other projects.

In June 2012, an agreement on research cooperation was signed between the National Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Republic and Hacettepe University of the Republic of Turkey.

In agreement signed by General Director of the National Center of Oncology academician J.A.Aliyev and Prof. Dr. Murat Tuncer the rector of Hacettepe University of the Republic of Turkey   reflected the exchange of scientists and specialists, improvement qualification, the organization of practical courses and other projects. Parties will cooperate in protection, diagnostics and treatment of oncology of children and adolescents.
